New automatic line in motion
At Francovera, we installed a fully integrated powder coating line for aluminium sheet metal, profiles, and constructions. Designed to meet Qualicoat standards, this installation combines advanced technology, sustainability, and energy efficiency to deliver unmatched coating quality.
Advanced powder application and flexible transport
One of the key features of this line is the rapid colour change technology, supplied by Nordson, which allows for effortless switching between different colours and finishes. It ensures consistent coating quality and enables fast response to customer demands.
The Power & Free transport system automatically moves parts through each step of the coating process. From pre-treatment to curing, all processes run smoothly and efficiently, resulting in optimal lead times.
Eco-friendly technology: water treatment and energy-efficient ovens
Sustainability is central to our approach. The installation includes a high-end wastewater treatment system, where a vaporiser concentrates the wastewater. This water is then demineralised using an ion exchanger and reused in production. This ensures minimal environmental impact and efficient water management.
Our drying and curing ovens feature high-density insulation – unique in Belgium – and are equipped with engineered heat exchangers. This guarantees optimal efficiency without heat loss, minimising energy consumption while ensuring even curing.

With remote monitoring technology fully integrated, we can track and adjust the entire process in real time, boosting quality and offering maximum flexibility.
Synergy with partners within the Axon Group
As a total supplier, Coating Projects installs the entire coating line in-house. At the same time, we benefit from the expertise of our Axon Group partners: Enviro-Tech for the pre-treatment tunnel, PCA Water for the water treatment, and Noviso for the ovens. This strong collaboration enables us to deliver high-end coating solutions with innovative and sustainable technologies.
