Extension of an existing installation with an extra-long curing oven

At Protexy in Lille, part of the CETS Group, we recently expanded their existing powder coating installation. The request: a longer curing oven, fully integrated into the current line, with enough capacity to handle larger components.

We delivered an extra-long oven with an automatic sliding door, linked to the existing conveyor system. The oven is designed to make optimal use of the available space and can efficiently handle profiles up to 12 metres long and 3 metres high.

Coateq also supplied the complete control system, tailored to integrate seamlessly with the existing setup.

A unique detail: at the customer's request, no floor insulation was added, keeping the oven accessible for forklift traffic. To reduce heat loss through the floor, we added extra insulation at the base of the wall panels.

A practical upgrade – smartly designed to fit the situation, with a clear focus on usability and energy efficiency.
